(3) 复习并掌握阅读理解一的题型(便条、简讯等的写法)

(4) 勤做阅读理解二的练习(掌握各题型的答题技巧)

(1)在家自行朗读练习(注重语速、声调、情感的变化等)

A Student’s Guide to Preparing for Primary 4 SA1 Chinese Papers

Paper 1

(1) Revise words and phrases written previously (rewriting misspelled words is highly-recommended)

- Students will be better aware of their own commonly-misspelled Chinese characters and inappropriate use of diction, phrasing, and punctuation,ensuring they do not make the same mistake again.

(2) Read and analyse model essays (highlight and note down exemplary or useful vocabulary and phrases)

- Students will master proper essay structures and build up the range and depth of their vocabulary.

Paper 2

(1) Revise words and short phrases found in the texbook (including their meaning as well as their Hanyu Pinyin)

(2) Engage in more language application exercises (MCQ) (word recognition, identifying proper word choice, completing dialogues, etc.)

(3) Revise and master the question structure of Reading Comprehension I (note-writing, message-construction, etc)

(4) Actively practice Reading Comprehension II questions (master a range of answering techniques to answer every type of question)


Paper 3

(1) Practice reading passages out loud at home (take note of pace and tonality, and vary use of emotions)

(2) Share personal thoughts, views, and insights upon reading news articles and clips online with family members
